The Objet Eden260V was recently nominated the 'Readers Choice' Top Product by subscribers to
Dental Lab Products Magazine.
The Objet machine was the only 3D printer to be honored in the list of over 230 new product
innovations featured in the magazine and on the website during 2011.
3D printing is at the heart of the digital revolution that is now storming the dental industry.
But what exactly is Digital Dentistry?
In functional terms, it is the replacement of dental modeling by human hands
with machine-made dental parts. The story is the same for most dental labs:
the bottleneck caused by the traditional manual workflow prevents them from
taking the next step to more new customers, new markets and new catchment areas.
With a 3D printer in-house, the production of custom dental parts suddenly becomes faster,
highly accurate and incredibly consistent.
Why 3D printing as opposed to any other manufacturing process?
Because 3D printing is the only technology able to manufacture one-off, custom-made
dental parts efficiently and effectively.
Avi Cohen, Head of Medical and Dental Solutions at Objet says of the magazine's recognition:
“We are delighted that the Objet Eden260V 3D Printer was selected as a 2011
Best of the Best Product for precision dental manufacturing…
The high degree of interest reflects 3D printing’s growing importance in digitizing dentistry.
This selection highlights Objet’s growing success in redefining manufacturing in the dental laboratory industry. We are excited to play our part in bringing improved dental solutions to dentists and their patients everywhere."
